According to IATA statistics, over 1 billion pieces of checked baggage are handled worldwide every year. Out of the items of luggage that are lost about 98% of all delayed baggage is found. A majority of baggage usually ends up on a carousel at the wrong airport. Thanks to the techniques employed by Arvin Aviation, together with dedicated staff and improvements in the automation process involved with baggage tracing, the chances of misplaced luggage being found are now higher than ever before.
